Girl's Weekend

This past weekend , my Sis, nieces, daughters and granddaughter all went to Des Moines
 for a girls/shopping weekend.
What fun we had.
You all know I am TERRIBLE at taking pictures,
but I am also terrible at REMEMBERING to take pictures!
I didn't get very many of US , what I did think to take pictures of was our hotel .
Seems weird huh?
Well , wait till you see some of these awesome ideas!
My niece Jenna said , this place is like a Pinterest board waiting to happen!
I agreed .
So get your "pin" buttons ready !

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Suites at Living History Farms.
And no, they didn't pay me to write this post , I WISH !

The lobby.
Even the carpet looks like a patchwork quilt.

I SO wanted to take this ottoman home with me !
That may have been frowned upon ...

The side tables were all painted to look like advertising signs.
AWESOME!

C*U*T*E !

Another seating area.
The art work was advertising related also, but I didn't see a signature of the artist.
Very Folk Arty !
But the best piece in this grouping ~ in my opinion~

A VERY awesome old door made into a coffee table.
I know we've seen these before , but this one is JUST * SO * COOL !
Can you tell I was excited about it? !

Here is a close up .
Is that detail not DIVINE ?!

Isn't this THE*MOST*AWESOME idea EVER ?!
I wouldn't be able to fit three doors in my entry ,
but I could fit one.
What a great coat rack!

Addie got a new toy.
Well , maybe a couple.
Anyway .... here are the few pictures of family I actually took this weekend !
She loved the swimming pool!
Bad Grandma didn't get any pictures of that :(
Aunt Shelly got her this crazy wand that makes a disco ball on whatever surface she pointed it at.
Hilarious!
She loved it.

She really entertained Spencer!
All of us really!
There is nothing better than spending the weekend with the girl's!

  1. LOVE The screen door idea. Is there a way I can make that with a metallic modern flair? Ideas?

  4. When some one searches for his necessary thing, so he/she wants to be available that in detail, therefore that thing is maintained over here.
