Wednesday with Addie and an Herbal Bouquet

Addie and I had quite en eventful day today.

Well,,, every day with Addie is eventful.

Grandma is usually pretty pooped when she goes home... 

But before I picked her up today , I was cleaning up the kitchen and decide I need some fresh flowers in my hanging vase .

However ,  I don't have any flowers ready to cut yet .

So ... I cut what I had available .... herbs.

Dill , parsley , rosemary .. ( no thyme though )

I switched out the original mason jar vase for a recycled olive oil jar.

Kinda pretty huh ?

The dill looks kinda like fireworks ( I think )

Our first activity of the day was drawing on the chalk board.

I drew this little bird.

 Note the white X under the bird .

Addie drew that .

I asked her what that was.

She said ," the bird pooped ."

Oh my ...

I had to laugh , I just couldn't help it!

Then it was " Princess Time ".

She actually wanted to pose for these pictures.

She didn't like this one though .

I didn't show her " princess dress".

It was a beautiful day in the Trailerhood today.

We spent quite a bit of time outside.

Grandpa took this picture.

The love seat was pretty crowded !

( note all the toys and books , I thought she'd have her whole toy box out there before she went home ! )

Then Addie decided SHE should take some pictures...

Not  to bad for a 2 1/2 year old.

The fur on our laps is Mylo and Buddy ...

That's my day in a nut shell.

Now this exhausted grandma needs to get some sleep !
